My name is Sally Louise Jepson, and I am the founder of Celebrating Lives Together. As a professional celebrant, I provide bespoke services throughout Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands. Whether it’s a funeral, wedding, vow renewal, or baby naming, I am committed to creating ceremonies that reflect the unique lives and personalities of those being honoured. With a relationship-based, caring approach, I strive to make every ceremony a memorable and meaningful celebration.
I love working with people, hearing about them, their life story and achievements. It always fills me with admiration and inspiration. Supporting families to celebrate the lives of loved ones, be it welcoming a new family member, celebrating a union or saying a special goodbye is an honour and a privilege.
I have a big smile, a warm personality and am genuinely caring and non-judgmental. I tend to know the right things to say and my empathy and life experience enables me to inspire others from all walks of life. I will always be willing to go the extra mile and do whatever is needed to help you create the perfect service. It is a privilege to support a family in planning those perfect celebrations, especially when it comes to a respectful funeral service for a loved one, bringing them to life with more magical moments and special memories.
My passion for life, creativity and people was born of my long-term career in education as a highly successful Headteacher and my varied volunteering roles. I have now taken this passion through to supporting people to celebrate significant stages of life and it is a privilege to enjoy the impact of this.

- Creating a service especially funerals is an honour. It has to be the perfect match to the character of your loved one. You only get one chance to tell their life story and re-live their memorable moments. Every step of the journey I can be alongside you to help and guide you to achieve this.
- I took time to study as a celebrant, am professionally qualified and hold a diploma in public speaking.
- I am genuinely interested to hear about your loved one or exciting life event and to be there with you
- I will liaise with your chosen funeral director/venue organiser to ensure all the organisation is properly thought out and prepared.
- I will prepare a detailed script to tell your story or life tribute to your loved one giving you plenty of time to consider it. You will receive a special personalised copy.
- If you wish, I will creatively assist or provide ideas for the right music, readings, poetry, prayers or affirmations for the service.
- I can help you work in testimonies from family members who may wish to contribute or speak at the event. It may be that a family member or friend would like to lead the service but would like help in constructing it, writing a speech or eulogy or simply linking it together on the day. I can help by supporting you and anyone else involved.
